Into The Wild: ii

by eloisehendy

I looked at you, bolder than I’d ever been

You did not look away.

Two strangers, with fire on their tongues and mud on the soles of their shoes

What an adventure; you were just my type, right?

In the autumn we lay on your sofa, saying nothing.

It got colder; my boldness faded, my tongue was dry.
